‘You’ or ‘Your’ refers to the Parents or Guardians

 

Fees

Termly fees must be paid according to your invoice by the end of the first week of the term. A Late Payment Fee of £5.00 will be added if a fees payment reminder has to be sent. Please quote your invoice number in all correspondence regarding fees.

One FULL TERM’S written notice is required to leave any class.

Notice MUST be received IN WRITING – email or letter (social media communication is not sufficient), otherwise one full term’s fees will be due in lieu. All terms’ Notice Due Dates are publicised on the noticeboard, on the term dates sheets and on the website.  A pro rata Notice Fee will be charged when Notice is received after the Notice Due Date.

Notice to leave at the end of the Summer Term - to not return in September, must be given by the final day of the Summer Term, otherwise a Late Notice fee will be due.

Uniform and Hair

Full and correct uniform must be worn to all classes.

CEBS school hoodie is desirable but not compulsory.

Hair should be tied back from the face for all classes, and must be in a bun or ballet crown for Pre-Primary children and above.

Jewellery must not be worn during class.

 

Health & Safety Regulations

Under health and safety regulations we must make you aware that:

Owing to the nature of ballet tuition there will inevitably be occasions when the teacher needs to have physical contact with your child to assist with posture and placement etc.

Photographs and videos may be taken by the school for the sole purpose of publicity.

Please advise if either of these points are a cause of concern for you.

 

General

In the event of accident, injury or extreme illness when you cannot be contacted, we are ‘in loco parentis’ and will call an ambulance if necessary.

You are not permitted to watch classes every week. There are three opportunities per year for you to view your child’s progress. For dates please see term dates sheet and check the noticeboard.

Students will be entered for examinations at the discretion of the Principal.

Students will take part in school performances at the discretion of the Principal.

Feedback requests

If you would just like some feedback on how your child is progressing, please contact Miss Ellie on ellie@coopersedgeballetschool.co.uk who will acknowledge receipt of your request within three working days, and respond via email within 14 working days. There will also be the opportunity to book a telephone appointment if you would prefer.

Coopers Edge Ballet School Comments and Complaints Procedure

We are committed to providing a high-quality level of teaching for all our students. If you feel we are not upholding this we need you to tell us about it. This will enable us to maintain and improve our high standards.

 

All comments or complaints must be received in writing.  If you have a comment or complaint, please contact us and we will provide you with our Comments and Complaints form to complete.

 

What will happen next?

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your comment or complaint within three working days.

  • We will then investigate your comment or complaint and respond via email within 14 working days.

  • If you are still dis-satisfied we will arrange a mutually convenient time for a telephone appointment to discuss your concerns.
