Some may say “Jack of all trades”  I prefer to say multi-talented.  Which ever way you look at it, my personal motto to stay calm, have fun, but get the job done, works well for me!

I started my training at the Bristol School of Dancing and the Bristol Stage School. Here I took part in numerous shows at the Hippodrome and Redgrave Theatre working with The English National Ballet Company, European Ballet Company, and performed in many Christmas Pantomimes.

I was a soloist with the Bristol Youth Ballet Company, playing leading roles in ‘Cinderella’, ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘The Spanish Wedding’ and ‘Cardboard City’.

My training progressed at the Central School of Ballet on the Pre-Seniors course followed by two years at the Arts Educational School, Tring Park, where I gained both performance and technical experience, my teaching qualifications in ballet and modern dance, and I was a finalist in the prestigious end of year ‘Cup’ Competitions.

Post graduation followed a few years of performing in small touring shows

around the UK and Europe. Followed by five years in London’s West End working on shows such as Mary Poppins, Dirty Dancing and some Gala performances. After that, moving back to my home town of Bristol I settled down to study with the Royal Academy of Dance and two years later graduated with the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, whilst teaching - at one of Bristols most prestigious dance schools - children from 2½ years up to Advanced 2 level.

Having moved away from Bristol I opened Coopers Edge Ballet School in September 2012 in the wonderful dance facilities at Coopers Edge School. Since then I have also opened branches in Churchdown in January 2016 and most recently at the Gloucestershire International School in May 2017.

I have recently qualified and am a licensed PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) instructor, and I’m really enjoying bringing this wonderful new way of working into CEBS.

Alongside CEBS I am part of the Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Faculty teaching ballet to children and adults across the UK. I also teach Classical ballet and PBT for MIDAS (Midlands Independent Dance Associates Scheme).

I can’t wait to meet all your little (and not so little!) Budding Ballerinas and Billy Elliots!
